Ruff and Tumble where

RUFF and Tumble is based in South Wales and is available for bookings anywhere along the M4 corridor and in the "Valleys".

Most halls are suitable for a ceilidh or barn dance, A stage or platform is preferable for the band - it stops the dancers falling over the band. Check the accoustics! Some halls are so echoey that the sound becomes a noise. The less echo the better!

A marquee makes a good venue, but make sure that any flooring is big enough for the dancing - it needs to be bigger than for a disco.

Barns don't always make good venues for a barn dance - they tend to be dirty, dusty, echoey and cold with an uneven floor. They're not impossible though, so talk to us about it.

The band requires exclusive use of just one 13 amp electricity supply. Its safety will be tested for polarity and earth, so it's a good idea to check it before the band does.
